Episode 412 Victor Avila is a First Class Father and Retired Supervisory Special Agent with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. While on official assignment in Mexico, Special Agent Avila suffered multiple gunshot wounds and survived a violent ambush by the Mexican Los Zetas drug cartel where Special Agent Jaime Zapata tragically lost his life. His book “Agent Under Fire: A Murder and a Manifesto” is now available. Victor is currently a candidate for City Council in Southlake Texas. In this Episode, his second interview on First Class Fatherhood, Victor shares his experience running for City Council, the value he brings to the community and how it has affected his family.
