Today I’m joined by Jimmy Chase for an interview on First Class Fatherhood.
Jimmy Chase is a First Class Father whose son Ja’Marr Chase is a star wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. Jimmy has watched his son Ja’Marr win the College National Championship with LSU and then become the 5th overall pick of the 2021 NFL. Ja’Marr was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and has played a pivotal role in the Bengals making it to Super Bowl LVI. Jimmy Chase is a Social Worker and a counselor by trade who helps youth and underprivileged kids get on the path to a better life.
In this Episode, Jimmy shares his fatherhood journey which includes five kids. He discusses the guidance he gave his son Ja’Marr about sitting out his final year at LSU. He describes the feeling as a dad watching his son be selected in the First Round of the NFL Draft. He talks about sharing these moments with Jimmy Burrow, the dad of Bengals star quarterback Joe Burrow with whom Ja’Marr played with at LSU. He talks about the impact of the Fatherless Crisis. He offers some great advice for new or about to be Dads and more!
