Ian Eagle is a First Class Father and legendary Sports Broadcaster. Ian Eagle joined CBS Sports in March 1998 as a play-by-play announcer for the CBS Television Network’s coverage of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. He has called play-by-play for the Network’s coverage of the National Football League since 1998, and served as pregame and postgame host contributor during the Network’s coverage of Super Bowl LV, Super Bowl LIII and Super Bowl 50. This season Eagle again teams with Charles Davis and Evan Washburn to form the Network’s No. 2 NFL ON CBS announce team. In 2024, Ian will take over for Jim Nantz on NCAA Tournament coverage.

He discusses some of the challenges being a sports broadcaster, which includes a lot of traveling, while being a family man.
