Today I’m joined by Dan Hooker for an interview on First Class Fatherhood. In this Interview, Dan shares his Fatherhood journey which includes a two year old daughter. He discusses how becoming a father has changed him as a fighter as well as a man. Dan talks about being quarantined in New Zealand after his fights. He describes the response from his parents when he told them he wanted to become a professional fighter. He talks about when he began taking his career seriously and gives advice for parents of kids interested in professional fighting. Dan offers some great advice for new or about to be Dads and more!
Dan Hooker is a First Class Father and Professional Fighter in the UFC. He competes in the lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and is currently the #8 ranked fighter in the lightweight division. Inside the octagon he is known as The Hangman but at home he is known as Dad. Dan fights out of his hometown of Auckland, New Zealand where he amassed a 10-4 professional MMA record before joining the UFC in 2014.
