Joe is also a New York Times best selling author of “Spartan Up”, “Spartan Fit” and “The Spartan Way”. He currently has a new book available “10 Rules For Resilience: Mental Toughness for Families”. Before becoming involved in Ultra Events, Joe was a businessman and stock trader. His passion for long-distance events grew so rapidly that In one year he completed fifty ultra events and fourteen Ironmans.
