Episode 457 Tobias Iaconis is a First Class Father and Hollywood Screenwriter. He is best known for writing, with Daughtry, the films “The Curse of La Llorona” and “Five Feet Apart”. Tobias recently wrote the screenplay for Netflix’s film adaptation of the children's fantasy-horror book, “Nightbooks” by author J. A. White. He was born in Germany and grew up outside of the city of Kaiserslautern, attending U.S. Department of Defense Dependents Schools. In this Episode, Tobias shares his Fatherhood journey which includes a 13 year old son. He discusses the challenges he has faced becoming a dad, how it has put him outside his comfort zone and how it has helped him to grow. He describes how being present is a top priority for him as a father and a husband. He talks about the screenwriting process and drops some gems for aspiring writers.
