Episode 284 Gunnar Hanson is a First Class Father and Former Navy SEAL who is now a Pastor. After becoming a Christian, Gunnar developed a deep desire to know what the Bible taught about what it meant to be a Christian and how this new life in Christ fit with his life as a US Navy SEAL. This desire led him to distance learning courses through Moody Bible Institute and ultimately to Southern California Seminary where he earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biblical Studies and a Masters of Divinity. In this Episode, Gunnar shares his Fatherhood journey, he discusses his transition from SEAL to Pastor, he talks about his abusive childhood and how that has influenced his own parenting philosophy, he explains what it’s like to be a Christian while serving in the SEAL Teams, he tells us his plans for the future, he offers some great advice for new or about to be Dads and more!
